Here he is sucking his fist again. In the last couple of days, he has been using his hands a lot. Yesterday, while I was watching, he pulled his pacifier out of his mouth, held onto it, and then popped it back in. After a few sucks, his flailing hand pulled the pacifier out again. I was very pleased by this, because I am dreaming of the day when he can pacify himself. But today, I realized another implication of his recent accomplishments. He is now even better at removing the pacifier from his mouth, requiring the assistance of a nearby parent. Oh well.
