"Today is Graham's birthday. He is just terrific. I'll post more details after we've left the hospital."
That is what I posted from the hospital one year ago. Today is also Graham's birthday and he is still terrific.
Graham rode on my bike for the first time today, he also took four or five steps in a row in the kitchen, he had rice at a Vietnamese restaurant at lunch, he clapped a bunch today in an interactive way for the first time (as seen here), he tried the Krewinghaus family birthday cake (that is the brown mass in the foreground) which means it was his first taste of chocolate ever (he didn't seem to like it), he went swimming at Kitty and Frank's house, he opened lots of super-cool presents, and behaved beautifully as we enjoyed a celebratory dinner out.
Finally, through the course of the day, Graham said four different words that he has been working on: apple (which we are pretty sure actually means apple to him) bubble Wow (I have audio evidence of this which I will post some other time) and best of all - PopPop. He said that to Jerry over and over. Pretty cool. |
