It's much easier to photograph him when he can watch the screen.
I was driving Graham home from "school" today when he said something was impossible. I asked what impossible meant and he said it meant you don't believe something. (Ah - that's incredulous.) I explained that impossible means something can't happen and my example was "Can Mommy fly?" Graham said "No" and I explained "That's impossible." My next example was the cats talking. Then I started an example with "Can Daddy" but I paused to think something up.
Graham finished my sentence: "Can Daddy woop and donk?"
Erin: "I don't know. What is wooping and donking?"
Graham: "I don't know."
I returned to the example I'd thought up: "Can Daddy float to the moon?"
Graham: "Woop and donk is when you fly to the moon."
Erin: "Oh. When you fly to the moon in a rocket ship or when you float to the moon on your own?" (Graham wants to be an astronaut. We have a book about astro bunnies in a rocket ship.)
Graham: "Woop and donk is when you float to the moon... When we get home, I will ask Daddy if he can woop and donk." |
