Leah hit it off with her Aunt Elizabeth right away.
She spent a good deal of our Christmas visit to
Kentucky in this position.
Leah was able to celebrate her big day with the
Johnsons in Kentucky. We were able to pull her
away from loving arms briefly for her portrait session.
I wish I had seen the exact moment when she fell asleep
with her arm in the air. How exactly did that happen?
She's smiling all the time these days, but it's
remarkably difficult to catch in a picture.
We keep trying.
Leah especially loves the Christmas tree lights,
but here she's settling for the overhead kind.
Peter has been giving Leah a bottle in the evening.
It's a special time for both of them.
We had my parents over for dinner a couple of nights ago.
Leah was dressed for the occasion.
I just couldn't resist posting another hair picture.
Here you get more of a side view.
She's not a happy girl.
Peter and I decided not to brush Leah's hair after her bath.
We just let it do it's natural thing. Isn't it fantastic?
Peter's parents got to meet Leah this weekend.
She took the opportunity to charm them.
Leah smiled for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
Now she's a smiling fool.
It has finally gotten "cold" here, so Leah has been
sleeping in her snuggly wear. Love the hat!
(It's on loan from Cousin Graham.)
Peter and Leah shared some quality floor time
over the holiday weekend.
Leah enjoyed her first Thanksgiving.
Here she is sleeping off her noon meal in her holiday finest.
