Leah's tastes are maturing. She now prefers sleeping on her side
with her feet through the crib slats.
She has also started rolling from front to back. She decided
that the best way to avoid tummy time was to take control
of the situation.
Leah is hanging out with Mom, Rowena, and her soon-to-be friend.
We look forward to her March arrival.
We had a great visit with friends last weekend,
and Leah enjoyed the attention immensely.
Here she is showing soon-to-be-dad Kevin that
holding a baby can sometimes be challenging.
Leah hit the big quarter-year mark today!
(The bunny had a much harder time during the photo
shoot than he used to. He got pummeled by our wiggler.)
Leah's not thrilled with her required tummy time.
She likes it a lot better when a bunch of colorful
toys are available for her viewing pleasure.
Here's the last of the one month old shots.
I love that he caught her yawning. She looks
like this quite a bit.
Her eyes were still a bit crusty at this point, but
just look at that face!
For the next few days I'm going to post some beautiful
pictures that Leah's Uncle David took when he met her.
They're from when she was one month old.
Here is Leah meeting her cousin Graham. He was
sick at the time (hence the forced distance), but you
can see the mutual interest. She can't wait to hang out again.
Leah's just starting to intentionally hold onto rattles and things.
I know it's the flash, but she looks a little crazed.
Yes, she still sleeps in roughly the same position.
And no, the hair doesn't need to be styled to do that.
Peter and Leah spent a good portion of the afternoon
propped up on pillows learning about ceiling fans. (Luckily
she's learning to multi-task, so her hand gnawing didn't
suffer.)
Our friend Aviva was in town over New Year's, and
she got to meet Leah. It was a big love fest.
I just had to post one more from her 2 month birthday.
You can see how charming Leah is. Gramma J. is
standing off to the side trying to get her to smile at
the camera. She won't do it for the camera, but she's
happy to do it for her gramma.
No, that isn't a blanket hanging down. That's all Leah!
She slept very comfortably in this position on Gramma's lap.
Leah enjoyed opening presents. She got
to snuggle with her Gramma the whole time.
Uncle Caleb and Aunt Heather admire Leah on
her birthday. (We love admirers!)
