To share, or not to share . . .

Aunt Erin and Uncle David are both quite handy with the sling.
This is how they carried her to and from the ice cream place,
nice and cozy.
While in Minneapolis, we took a trip to St. Olaf's
to visit Aunt Elizabeth. Leah was very excited to
see her.
So Aunt Elizabeth got a big, wet kiss.
Leah is six months old today.
(We'll be back with more Minnesota photos tomorrow.)
I know this isn't my blog, but I couldn't resist.
What a beautiful young woman she is.
Snuggling up with cousin Graham.

Leah is quite friendly with her giant bug from Aunt Elizabeth.
So much so that she offered the bug a ride. (No, I didn't stage this.
I'm not sure how the bug got there.)
It started with her letter mat. Now Leah seems to have a thing for
all floor coverings -- particularly their edges. She'll roll straight to
the edge of any surface and start chewing.
We were excited to meet our Goddaughter Caroline this weekend.
She is very cute and very snuggly. Leah wasn't too sure at first.
Who was this baby in Daddy's arms?
Luckily, once Caroline was back in her own Mommy's arms Leah
was able to check her out more directly, and a friendship was born.
Peter's parents came to visit this weekend. Leah loved the additional
attention. They went on walks, they ate pears and bananas, and Leah
even got her first tooth. It was a special weekend!
Many of you thought starting her on bananas would limit
her interest in less yummy foods like rice cereal -- not the case.
Leah loves all food. (At least until we try vegetables.)
Leah had her first solid food last night -- bananas!
We decided to ignore the recommended rice cereal.
(Wouldn't you rather eat bananas?)
It was a big success!
Mom encouraging Leah. (It didn't take much.)
Giving them a taste.
Definitely yummy.
Can I have more?
Thanks for the bites, but I'll just take the whole bowl.
So that's why the floor mat is labeled 3 and up.
And yes, she promptly started chewing on it.
Leah petting the kitty.
Leah petting . . . wait, where'd the kitty go?
Sorry for the lengthy posting delay. The primary poster
has been a bit ill.
Leah has a new found appreciation for her birthday bunny.
It's great for chomping. (I don't know how she became
such a bunny enthusiast. She really likes all of her toys,
not just the bunnies.)
