I think Mommy is supposed to be wearing the apron,
but Leah isn't picky.
Leah's vacation had a duck theme. She enjoyed her inflatable

quacked and she quacked back!
We gave Leah an apple to play with, and she knew
just what to do with it.

and down from the lawn chair.
Leah (with Gramma's help) discovered the true joy of saltines.
I had been breaking them up for her, but she likes them
much better whole. She makes these delicate little bites
around the edges.
Leah loves Aunt Elizabeth.
She also loves the words on Aunt Elizabeth's hat.

We just returned from a wonderful week on the UP of Michigan.
Peter and Leah posing on our first day.
I wish I could say that Fagin was learning to like Leah, but
I think he is just resigned to his fate.
It's appropriate that Leah decides Kleenex are a great invention
