We were in Murray for Leah's 13 month birthday, so we
decided to bring back the cheese grater from her 11 month
picture. (I forgot to take the picture until she was in her
jammies, bathed, and on the way to bed. That's the reason
for the curls.)
Last weekend we headed to the Houston Zoo. Leah
was constantly exclaiming, "Kitty!" At lions . . .
At tigers . . .
Leah and Grandpa celebrating his birthday.
Leah started to walk yesterday. She had taken up to 4 steps
at a time before, but they were always very tentative. Not
yesterday. The girl walked all the way across the kitchen with
a toy in each hand. (Sorry. I got that on video.) This is a couple
of hours later when she took the measuring spoons out for a stroll.
Leah enjoys eating breakfast with Daddy.
Especially when she eats his banana. (She won't
touch banana. She'll only eat it when someone
else holds it, preferably when it's in the peel.)
Leah is only allowed her pacifier in the crib. In
the past few days she's decided her paci is worth
staying in her crib. When we try to take her out
of her crib she scampers to the back and smiles.
When she's ready to get out she calls to us, hands
over the pacifier, and put her arms up.
Leah found the Christmas wrap and decided she could get
into the spirit (even if it's a little early).
