Daddy and Leah showing off their knee injuries. They're
both expected to make full recoveries.
Leah is obsessed with clocks and watches right now.
She keeps wearing this gasket on her wrist, circling the
house, and exclaiming, "Clock!"
Leah and Aviva read Duck for President during her recent visit.
Apparently ducks wear hats, but frogs don't.
Leah finally loves her "Gump" (Very Vanilla soy milk). The other night
I counted that she has at least 40 clear words and their meanings, but
"milk", "soy", and "Silk" are not not among them. She did manage to
teach Peter and I "Gump" though.
Kicking the ball.
Kicking the ball with assistance (and losing her skirt in the process).
You probably feel sorry for Alex (the cat), but he's the one that came
up to her over, and over, and over, no matter how many times she
pulled his tail. Stupid kitty.
Some mornings Leah demands her sunglasses and a bow before
she will start her day.
Peeps - moderate success
Jelly beans - big success
Orange jelly beans - failure
Not pictured: Dark chocolate, milk-free bunny - huge success
Heading off to find some not-very-hidden eggs (wearing
her constantly present bunny ears).
Investigating an egg with Grandpa before dropping it into
her basket with a cheer.
Grandma and Leah discover that teddy grahams found
in eggs are made of chocolate. (!!!)
Leah oversaw the egg dyeing. She wasn't quite ready
for full participation.
Peter takes Leah for long walks in the bjorn almost every day.
One night Leah tried to put on the bjorn and stick Elmo in it.
We helped her put it on and loaded Elmo. Here she's saying,
"Bye" before heading for the door with him.
We had a great weekend in Austin with Kevin, Rowena, and Caroline.
Leah and "Car Car" took a bath.
They checked out some bluebonnets.
And they ate chocolate cupcakes to celebrate Caroline's recent birthday.
Leah helped me move the sprinkler. She was a bit surprised
(and then thrilled) by the oscillation.
Caroline and Isabella came over recently for a playdate.
Uncle David came in town for the weekend and got a snuggle.
Before we were sick we had some fun on the neighbors' swing.
Normally Leah prefers pushing the swing to sitting on it.
