Leah and Daddy greeting Grandpa and Grandma through the tent window.
Playing with the dress-up accessories at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Rosa and Matt visited us last weekend, and they brought
Leah a bath glockenspiel. She loves it! (Peter loves it too.
He keeps asking to see the waterproof music cards, and
although Leah is very talented, I don't think she's the one
playing Twinkle, Twinkle.)
Leah doesn't like food. Chick-fil-a is an exception.
Going out for a walk in the new backpack.
Recovering from the walk.
Leah enjoying one of Daddy's conference trinkets, a glowing pen.
Every morning Leah puts cookbooks on the windowsill. (I have a lot of
cookbooks, but she always selects the ones published by Presbyterian
Women's groups.) She then goes to her room, and brings back Green
Eggs and Ham and places it with the cookbooks. At night she gets
very upset when I try to put it back with the children's books. Leah wants
it to live in the kitchen where food books "belong".
Leah's first ride in the bjorn (2 weeks old).
Leah's last ride in the bjorn (19 months).
She still asks to get in her "born", but she's just too tall.
We're hoping she loves her new backpack even half as much.
I think we're still a few months away from sporting pigtails in
public, but we're practicing at home.
If you check out this link to Graham's blog, you'll see that high
fashion runs in the family. Leah put this ensemble together --
the swimsuit cover-up paired with the winter coat is my favorite part.
We re-introduced the bath crayons with great success.
Leah kissed her work.
Leah now sits for long periods of time drawing with her crayons.
Flip-flops are not a safe choice for yard work. But we went out to play
in the sprinkler, and the urge to mow could not be denied.
