Leah enjoyed Go Texan Day a lot this year. We tried to teach her
to say, "Yeeee Hawh", but it stuck as "Heeeee Hawh!"
One of the trail rides made a stop at Leah's preschool. She
enjoyed the horses from this distance and from the safety of
Grandma's arms. When they moved in closer, Leah was not pleased.
After serving the Play-Doh cupcakes, Leah lead her friends in a rousing
chorus of the birthday song
Leah loved Alex's cool playset. Here I caught the brief
smiling moment before we started to push them and she
cried to get out. (The girl hates to swing.)
Leah had a fun playdate with Alex this week. You'll see several
cute pictures of them over the next few days.
Please notice all of Amy's bath toys and the cup for rinsing her hair.
Leah has named my favorite hooded sweatshirt the
hokey pokey dress, and for some reason it's a big hit.
We had a little family get together for the Super Bowl.
We explained that she could eat in the living room
because it was a celebration. She was excited and
announced that she expected a cupcake and Santa.
(Two must-haves at any good celebration.)
After settling for a bagel and a cookie, she enjoyed
the game. When asked who would win, the Bears or
the Colts, Leah responded gleefully, "Wisconsin!"
She's going to fit right in in our new home state.
Leah sings the "Music Genie" song from Jack's Big Music Show
when she puts together this outfit. She prances around granting
wishes with a tap of her wand proclaiming, "As . . . you . . . wish!"
For those of you familiar with our bedtime routine, Leah told me,
"Cinderella. Cozy and warm. Brush teeth. Like a baby. Night-night."
