This was Leah heading to dance class last week.
She is very excited to own tap and ballet shoes.
(It's all about the accessories.) Now she has the
flu, so she's not excited about much of anything.
And yes, Zoe has it too.
Zoe's check-up is on Tuesday, so we'll have to publish her size stats
a little later.
Watching what I'm sure was incredibly educational, age-appropriate television.
Zoe has a couple of pairs of rattle shoes that she enjoys very much.
They didn't have such things when Leah was new. You've got to love
progress.
Leah might need to work on her bedside manner. Zoe looks
frightened of the stethoscope and the doctor wielding it.
Leah drew our family, and we're very proud of the results.
This is her first drawing of people that I could actually recognize
as people. She told me that Zoe is the littlest one (bottom right).
She is right above Zoe, and Mommy, Daddy, and 4 grandparents
were all represented by the bigger people. I think some must be joint
representations.
It might seem odd that I'm so excited about Zoe's beautiful skin,
but it took a few trips to the dermatologist, several prescriptions,
and a constantly greasy baby to get here. A few weeks ago her scalp
was literally oozing -- we've come a long way.
