Zoe seemed interested in starting solids, so we gave her bananas about a
month ago. Leah was very eager to help. I feel like the resulting 10 minutes
produced enough pictures that it could be a whole separate blog, but here are just a couple.
Spring has finally come to Wisconsin (although it's supposed to snow
this weekend.) And Zoe is excited to become acquainted with her toes.
Leah seems to be outgrowing her milk allergy. She still can't
drink milk without her face swelling up, but she enjoys a good
cheesecake these days.
Leah (as she sways and twirls): I'm orbitting! I'm the Earth. Mommy, you can
be my Sun, and I'll orbit around you.
Leah (a few minutes later): Zoe, will you be my moon?
I am incredibly honored to be the center of her universe!
Now that Leah has a slightly gentler touch with Zoe, these moments
are more frequent.
This is one of the few moments where Zoe has been asleep and
unswaddled. You can tell the sleepiness snuck up on her while
playing with her favorite toy.
Zoe and Grandma seemed to hit it off.
Recovering from their good times.
Leah's school has an annual sock hop, and she was pretty
excited to don her poodle skirt and attend her first dance.
Dancing with her friends to the Elvis impersonator.
We all had a great time!
These are in order -- quite the roller coaster.
Maybe we're OK. . .
. . . No, definitely not OK.
Zoe and I recently accompanied Leah to a birthday party.
Zoe enjoyed her bjorn time and our self-portrait taking.
Leah enjoyed the big slide (eventually).
