I put my mom and daughter to work planting my herbs.
Thanks, guys! The dill is delicious.
Leah learned to sit for Grover. Zoe learned to sit for Fagin, the cat.
She mastered sitting on June 2nd, and I'm just now posting it.
Sorry, Zo.
Leah has been practicing holding Zoe under the arms instead
of around the neck. Zoe appreciates her efforts.
Leah was very excited for her spring program.
She was an enthusiastic performer that only interrupted
her 25 classmates once. She yelled, "I love you Mommy!"
And I cried -- just a little bit.
We quickly recovered and moved on to the ice cream social
part of the evening. Here is Leah hanging with her friends.
Two siblings admiring their two babies. We're very lucky.
I interrupt my sequential (and slow) posting for something we actually did
today. Zoe went for her first swim, and she loved it!
Zoe enjoyed meeting her new cousin Noah over Memorial Day weekend.
Then she tried to pin him down and eat him.
Zoe loves teething biscuits, but they're hard on her wardrobe.
Don't miss the photos I posted an hour ago, but I didn't want to
forget this one.
I just got Leah up from her "nap". She has been talking and
playing in her dark room for the last couple of hours. She knows
that there is a video "thermometer" (monitor) pointed at her bed, but
she doesn't realize how infrequently Mommy actually looks at it.
Leah: Mommy, did you see all of the dangerous things I was doing?
Mommy: What dangerous things?
Leah: Oh . . . nothing. Never mind. I didn't stand on my bed. I didn't
stand on my table either. Do you want to play a game?
For a girl that was scared of the carousel a couple of years ago,
she has become quite the pro. She's even figured out that she
can get 2 rides by expressing her desire to share the experience
with each parent.
Exiting the ride in our matching "diva" glasses. She requests them
by name. "Mommy, may I have my diva glasses today?"
