Lots of posts today, so look back.
Leah and friends sang out during their school program.
Celebrating with Nikhita and a delicious snowman cupcake.
Leah and I headed down to Chicago for her first-ever
concert, the Laurie Berkner Band. We had a fabulous
time, but we weren't supposed to take pictures. So
here is Leah in front of the theatre's Christmas tree.
This wild turkey flew in, landed on our birdfeeders, and spent
the entire afternoon snacking in our snowy backyard.
One more snow outing for our Texan goddaughter and Leah.
I think next time they'll be visiting during the summer.
It was too cold to sled, but we gave it a try anyway.
Leah and Caroline ready for their big runs.
Zoe and I froze as we looked on.
Leah and Zoe pose in front of the live reindeer downtown.
All of the girls pose with the reindeer, the sleigh, and the slightly
creepy elf.
Normally I try to steer clear of photos with Santa, but when
we headed into the coffee shop to warm up Leah immediately
sought him out for a picture.
Kevin, Rowena, Caroline, and Litty came to visit us a few
weeks ago. They were troopers because it was VERY cold.
Here Zoe, Litty, and Row enjoy the warmth inside.
Caroline and Leah reunite at their own dinner table.
Peter and the girls decorate the tree. (The reflective tape on
the bjorn adds a certain festivity, don't you think?)
Uncle David, Graham, Leah, and Grandpa regroup with an intense game of
Hungry, Hungry Hippo.
Cousins enjoying a nice story with Uncle David.
King Kong Zoe looks on.
There is nothing better than playing all day in your jammies.
