Leah put on her bee costume from 2 1/2 years ago, so she
could more accurately drink nectar from her flower cup.
Not surprisingly, Leah enjoyed performing for a large audience.
Perhaps a bit more surprisingly, Zoe danced in the aisles, sang
along, and flirted with the audience after the show.
Zoe pulled Leah's milk glass off of the table, and I found her lapping
up the spilled soy milk. It made me so sad. She even screamed
when I tried to pull her away from the puddle. I promise we do give
her her own milk.
We went to her 18 month appointment a few weeks ago, and she's
definitely a slender girl. She is 33" tall and 19 lbs. 15.5 oz. (The
1/2 oz. is significant because we can't turn her car seat around until
she hits 20 lbs.) That makes her 85th percentile for height and less
than 5th percentile for weight. We're not worried . . . yet. It also
means that she weighs just a little more than double her birth weight
of 9 lbs. Our girls are born big and then we just stretch them until
they're long and lean.
Zoe loved this Kid K'Nex creature like a real pet.
She carried him around and snuggled with him until
she disassembled him.
Leah was willing to try anything as long as it was part of "hibachi."
She even tried to catch a flying shrimp bit in her mouth.
On the other hand, Zoe cried anytime she saw fire.
So she's really more of a book carrier, but she does love them.
Zoe's third word was ball. (Kitty and bird were numbers 1 and 2.) Soccer
balls are her favorite, and she has no qualms about challenging Leah for one.
The coordinated little cousins scheme on how to go up the slide.
(I'm playing a bit of catch-up. This is from David, Erin, Graham, and
Noah's visit in mid-April.)
Zoe successfully stole the jumbo goldfish box from the pantry
but was very disappointed that it was still sealed.
Zoe loved pre-op.
Post-op was not as big of a hit, but raisin bread redeemed it.
