More love for Uncle Caleb.
The only picture of Zoe's badly carpet-burned nose. She
did a back-flip off of an inflatable at a birthday party the
day before. Ouch.
We joined Aunt Heather's family to walk in memory of her mother,
Nancy. It was an unexpectedly beautiful morning, and a special time
to share with family and friends
Uncle Caleb and some of his nieces and nephews enjoy the lake.
The girls vying for Uncle Caleb's attention.
Zoe's birthday shoot was producing pretty but serious pictures.
Then she decided to accessorize her outfit.
And she got a lot happier.
Leah is a prolific artist these days. Her mermaid piece is one of my favorites.
When I slip away to relax for a moment, they always seem to find me.
Leah and Peter braved the backyard again. They
were so chatty I had to shut our bedroom window
so I could get some sleep.
We had some windows installed on the 2nd floor. I found Zoe
watching from the playroom below. That was fine, but her
decision to watch while standing in a window was not the
safest choice.
The tears streaming down her face were caused by a lunch box
dispute. She knew that Leah takes a lunch box to school, so she
wanted to take one too (even though she wasn't eating lunch there.)
The problem was that she wanted to take Leah's, and Leah needed
her lunch. Complicated, right?
Luckily, we were able to give her an empty lunchbox. Now she takes
it (and an empty backpack) to and from school every time. Sadly,
she is not yet a fan of school. She screams on and off for 3 hours.
Good times.
