Getting ready to head out.
We had to show Zoe our candy to build her interest in the whole
Trick-or-Treat process. Then she didn't want to walk away from
the cauldron.
One last futile attempt at a picture before we headed inside to get
out of the cold.
Sisters scooping out the pumpkin.
Zoe telling Peter that it needs a nose.
Admiring the finished product.
We also managed to hit the pumpkin patch during the birthday
extravaganza.
Setting up with Ms. Karen.
Carrying the earth around the sun one of five times.
The cake.
The attendees.
The monarch.
The little sister disgusted by the overly sweet strawberry
cake covered in orange and black icing with M&Ms.
Queen Leah was sweet to include Princess Zoe in her
"big kid" party. Zoe was WAY more into it than I thought
she'd be. The jewelry cabinet was her favorite part.
Her finished ensemble.
Wearing her napkin ring while at tea.
Leah and friends celebrated her birthday with a princess tea party.
It was a big succes!
Learning about their meal and the bell that Leah could ring for assistance.
Enjoying her throne and all of the royal attention.
Thanks to Grammie for our first family picture in about a year.
The girls loves cookie monster.
And she loves cake.
But sometimes she finds a fork (and hands) to be unnecessary.
The aftermath.
Cookie Monster isn't as popular as he once was. Instead of spending
$100 for a 1970's Cookie pan on Ebay, I faked it from an Elmo pan.
He looks wrong, but the blue "fur" and a cookie was all she needed for
identification.
Very excited about her bacon and orange-iced cinnamon rolls.
Having climbed to the top of the playset with panda AND a book.
Still delighted by the pinwheel.
Zoe loves everything about her gymnastics class (except
the silly songs). She loves the octagon.
The big girl balance beam.
The pommel "horsey."
And the tunnel.
I forced a fashion show of potential Christmas card outfits.
They weren't feeling it.
Zoe's new thing is removing all of her clothes. Then
sometimes she digs in the laundry for a favorite shirt
and tries to dress herself. She ended up frustrated,
trapped, and with a very stretched favorite shirt.
More of the cuteness that inspired me to get out the camera
in the first place.
Leah kindly helped Zoe with the toy.
And Zoe was sweetly appreciative.
When I grabbed my camera to capture their matchy-matchy
cuteness, they ran for their cameras too.
