She always sleeps with 2 pacifiers, 1 tiger, and a book. I love
that the ladybug book is still on her chest more than two hours in.
Please note the black eye. That's from dropping a book on her face
during nap several days before.
Zoe enjoyed reading with Grammie over Thanksgiving.
Zoe's eye started wandering a few months ago, and recently
it got worse. So the ophthalmologist prescribed . . . eye jewelry!
Luckily, Zoe thinks it's fabulous. She likes to pick out which
pattern she's going to wear. Then she runs to the mirror to admire
her "jewelry." They're so popular that the dolls are wearing them too.
Our Zo is a trooper!!
The nine of us started together at BCG Chicago 12 years ago. Some
version of the group gets together almost every year, but all nine of us
managed to make it to David's beautiful wedding in Phoenix a couple of
weeks ago. So here's the whole group . . .
Leah loves to watch Top Chef with me, and recently she divised her
own "Quick-Fire" challenge. She had to create a salad from the ingredients
on hand. She mixed cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, basil leaves, raisins,
and sliced bananas. Then she judged it to be, "Delicious! The best ever!"
She packed the fabulous salad in her lunch for several days and wrote out
the recipe for publication. If anyone is interested, I'll happily send it along.
And just for the record, in our house it's pronounced the way
it was pronounced in Episode 4, none of that Lay-ah nonsense.
