The Bombe
I think I've mentioned before that Leah loves Ina Garten.
So sometimes we watch Barefoot Contessa together, and Leah
decrees which recipes look so delicious that we must make them.
So may I present, the ice cream bombe. Leah was right. It looked
impressive, and it tasted great.

She's a Beauty
Zoe calls all princesses "Beauties." I think it's because
of Sleeping Beauty, but I'm not totally sure. Here she
twirled to show off her ensemble and declared herslf to
be a Beauty Fairy.

Portrait of a Mommy
Zoe took this with my camera. Not bad for a 2 year old.
Zoe-Tard!
What's a Zoe-tard you might ask? It's what a little sister wears
to gymnastics after more than a year of waiting for her big sister
to outgrow her Leah-tard. Genius, right?
I thought it was totally acceptable for a toddler to attend gymnastics
in shorts and a t-shirt. But once Leah outgrew her leotard, Zoe didn't
want to wait any longer. She proudly wears this (too big) leotard to
class and tells everyone it's her Zoe-tard. Too cute.
Demonstrating the, "Ta-dah!" she does at the completion of each
skill.

A Festive Fourth
Hans and Marlene visited us for the 4th of July with their little guy.
