A trio of cocktails for Lois and her children.
Bringing in the New Year from the warmth
of our hotel room downtown.
Luke and Leah (Nice Star Wars naming for the cousins, right?)
The festive jammie crew.
The nappers.
Baking with Grammie
The gorgeous fruit flower Leah prepared for dinner.
The attendees (minus the photographer, sleeping Luke, and the non-cooperative Zoe.)
Sorry for the delay in posts. I'm having new computer adjustment issues.
Zoe sugars the stuffed dates.
Leah decorates the traditional Johnson cookies (with Great Uncle Peter
and a family of helpers).
(Back row, fourth from the left.)
Leah was super-excited to have one of the speaking parts.
PROUD!
Leah is in the middle with a red sweater and helmet.
She is proud to have moved up to Basic 3!
It is almost impossible to get a good picture of the girls together.
But I tried.
She loved her ruffly dress, her Christmas tree hat, and
the festivities, but she didn't sing a bit.
Enjoying hash browns and bacon at our favorite breakfast place.
Leah is officially a Daisy. I was not a fan of girl scouts,
but I seem to have given birth to a joiner. So bring on
the blue vest. (I do love the daisy crown though.)
A lot of blue vest wearing kindergarteners.
And some cute girls that were more interested in their snowballs
than the tree.
Leah's school has a breakast with Santa fundraiser. They were
both very excited about until they were actually faced with Santa.
Leah braved it (because Zoe asked her to.)
Then Zoe chickened out and hugged the candy cane instead.
The art projects were more of a universal hit.
Leah's Roots and Shoots group decorated a tree at the zoo
with ornaments made out of old clothes.
Posing with the Root and Shoots gang.
Jumping with the joy of the season.
