At her "fancy" birthday dinner.
Taking a boat out to watch the fireworks over Cinderella's castle.
The finale.
Then Leah got to drive "her" boat. After the fireworks, we saw
the Electric Light Parade (from the water) and got to sit under
the monorail track and watch the train go over us.
Leah's passengers pose before disembarking. She declared her
birthday boat to be the best part of the whole trip.
This is the first month that I forgot about Leah's birthday, so
her "portrait" is more casual than usual. I found her happily
playing with the toilet paper in her citrus-stained t-shirt. I handed
her the bunny, and here you go.
Leah decided that her backyard birthday photoshoot should be
more of a brisk walk around the block. (Bunny got to come too.)
She hit 32" (95%), and she jumped from her usual 5% weight
curve to the 10% curve with an impressive 20 pound weigh-in.
We were in Murray for Leah's 13 month birthday, so we
decided to bring back the cheese grater from her 11 month
picture. (I forgot to take the picture until she was in her
jammies, bathed, and on the way to bed. That's the reason
for the curls.)
Sorry for the delay, but Leah's birthday fell during our
evacuation adventure. We're all well, and so is the house.
Her measurement bunny didn't make the trip, so a bladeless
cheese grater will have to demonstrate scale this time.
Leah has her check-up this afternoon, so we'll share her stats
(and many more birthday photos) tomorrow.
Leah is six months old today.
(We'll be back with more Minnesota photos tomorrow.)
Sorry for the posting delay. Leah was gallivanting around
Austin on her birthday.
You can tell that she's a slender girl from her photo. Today
she went to the doctor for her check-up, and we learned that
she's 95th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.
Her head circumference is 75th percentile -- chock full of brains!
Leah hit the big quarter-year mark today!
(The bunny had a much harder time during the photo
shoot than he used to. He got pummeled by our wiggler.)
Leah was able to celebrate her big day with the
Johnsons in Kentucky. We were able to pull her
away from loving arms briefly for her portrait session.
"I'm this many fingers old!"
Actually, Leah is one month old today, but she
found her fist and all of its fingers.
