From dramatic role-playing to arts and crafts, apple-picking to children's museums, Kate and Abby, now fourteen months old, thoroughly enjoyed their time with the Bacon boys.

...and tasting. All in all, Kate and the Bacon boys picked close to a bushel of apples, and Abby ate at least three while watching.

tough choices
While in Virginia, we visited an apple orchard in Charlottesville, complete with a pumpkin patch and farmer's market. At times overwhelmed by her options but nevertheless undaunted, Abby had great fun.

Easily as cool as either of the two children's museums we visited while in Richmond, the Bacon's playroom was an inspiring source of fun and creativity.
